Your donation will help fund our Archie Reward Toy Boxes, which are located in more than 40 hospitals, community clinics, CAMHS facilities and other healthcare settings across Grampian, Tayside, the Highlands and Islands.
Filled with small toys and activities such as fidget toys, toy cars, books and activity packs, these boxes give healthcare staff a simple but powerful way to comfort and encourage children. A toy can provide a welcome distraction during a difficult procedure, help ease anxiety before an appointment, or be given as a reward for a child’s bravery afterwards.
£125 funds an Archie Reward Toy Box, including the toy box itself, bespoke graphics and an initial supply of toys to get it started. Whether your bid covers the full cost of a toy box or contributes towards one, every pound donated will help make a huge difference to children facing healthcare experiences across the north of Scotland.
