Gerry joined the ARCHIE Foundation as a Trustee in March 2025 bringing senior leadership experience from the public sector after a 28 year career in NHS Scotland where he focused on Property and Facilities strategic development; the private sector focusing on innovation, profitability and growing a business; and as a Trustee in the voluntary sector for the last six years.
Gerry chaired the NHS Scotland Property Advisory Group for seven years establishing Policy to be adopted by The Scottish Government.
Gerry sat on several Boards within the private, public, and voluntary sectors, and as Chair led the establishment of a Joint venture (JV) between 17 public sector bodies and the private sector covering the North of Scotland. Gerry currently sits on the NESTRANS and ACVO Boards in addition to ARCHIE.
Gerry is married to Alison, with two grown up daughters and a growing family of grandchildren.
