Join us in celebrating the power of play in healthcare settings. Play in Healthcare Week is a national celebration highlighting the vital role that play has in supporting babies, children and young people during healthcare experiences. From providing comfort and distraction during difficult procedures to helping children have more positive experiences during waiting times, play can make a world of difference.
At The Archie Foundation, we see this impact first-hand every day. That’s why we are proud to fund toys, play resources, and specialist play roles that help create brighter, more positive experiences for children in healthcare settings across the north of Scotland.
This year, we’re inviting our communities to get involved. We’re encouraging individuals, families and schools to take part in a Second-Hand Toy Sale, raising vital funds to help ensure play resources continue to be available for children when they need them most. This national week takes place in October each year, but this fundraiser is flexible, choose a date that works best for everyone involved.
