Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail

Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail is on the streets right now!

There are 200 Oor Wullie sculptures all over Scotland, all uniquely painted, for you to find this summer. The trail runs for 11 until 30 August 2019, culminating in a series of Farewell Events and nationwide auctions in each of the five host cities, Aberdeen, Inverness, Dundee, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Scotland’s first ever national public art trail aims to unite the country as it raises awareness and vital funds for Scotland’s children’s hospitals, including the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital.

We would love you to be part of it and are looking for volunteers! Click here to sign up as a volunteer.

How you can get involved!

No matter who you are or where you live, you can get involved with Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail by:

  • Exploring the trails in each city with your friends and family
  • Bidding on a sculpture in our auctions at the end of the trail
  • Volunteer to help make the trail even more of a success. Email [email protected] for more information or click here to register.

Funds raised through the trail will support The ARCHIE Foundation, Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity, helping children in hospital across the country.

Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail is a Wild in Art event, and would not be possible without the support of DC Thomson Media.
