The Gannochy Trust 2026 Funding

We’re super excited to announce our continued partnership with The Gannochy Trust, who have just confirmed further financial support of Archie’s Child Bereavement Service in Perth & Kinross, and across the wider Tayside region over the next three years

Further funding until the end of 2028, means we can continue the vital work we’ve established in the region over the past three years, with funding towards one of our Part-time Bereavement Support Workers allowing us to improve the quality of life for so many bereaved children.

Archie’s Child Bereavement Service directly supports children and young people who have experienced the death of someone important to them. Whether the person who died is a sibling, parent, extended family member, friend, neighbour, teacher or anyone else who has held a key place in the child’s life, we are here to provide any additional support a child needs to understand and manage their grief.

Our bereavement support workers have three key aims, to reduce distress experienced when children lose a loved one, to help bereaved children develop coping strategies, and increase bereaved children’s self-esteem, helping them grow and develop into resilient adults who reach their full potential.

The Gannochy Trust have been incredible supporters of The Archie Foundation for many years now, and we are so grateful they share our vision to develop this vital child bereavement service in Perth & Kinross and across the whole of Tayside.
