From major projects – like funding the building of Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital – to smaller ones and everything in between, The ARCHIE Foundation creates child-friendly and age appropriate spaces to make the difference for children receiving hospital treatment.

The iconic giraffes you see here are the focal point of the award-winning garden at RACH and featured on the BBC’s Beechgrove Garden programme. This ARCHIE project makes the children’s hospital instantly recognisable and the animals are loved by children, families and staff.

  • The ARCHIE Foundation is such a wonderful cause and I am only just learning how important it is to have donations and funding to help and support other parents and patients in need.
I had six-week stay at RACH with my two-year-old daughter who was in traction and without the help, support and donations it would not have been possible for me to stay here with her overnight.
