Lisa joined the team at Raigmore in December 2023 and is a first point of contact for families and professionals seeking support and guidance for bereaved children and young people.
Lisa has a background in supporting the health and wellbeing of children and young people across mainstream and additional support settings.
“I am proud to help the bereavement service reach communities across Highland and provide a candle in the dark to grieving families. A bereavement has ripple effects for the rest of a person’s life and can continue through generations, which is why informed support for children is so important to help them to express their grief and manage the huge feelings that come with it. It is a privilege to stand alongside families as they navigate their way on this journey, whatever stage they are at”.
