Jane Watson

BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT WORKER – EDUCATION.

Jane joined us in October 2020 as a Bereavement Support Worker after the Archie Foundation was awarded funding for her role. Prior to joining, Jane was a bereavement volunteer responder and had completed various courses in children and young people’s mental health and well-being.

In December 2022, Jane started a new role within the charity where she works specifically in education. This role will see Jane work in schools, school communities, and settings, surrounding a bereavement.

“Working for the Archie Foundation is a real honour. Supporting grief in childhood and adolescence has always been something I have been passionate about, and being there for families within the hospital and the community is a privilege.”
