Hazel has extensive experience as a staff nurse in many adult specialities before undertaking a diploma in Ophthalmology and securing a Ward Sister position followed by Clinical Nurse Manager in the department of Ophthalmology in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI). She moved to Dr Gray’s Hospital in 2004 initially as a GMED Practitioner moving into a management position in Dr Gray’s which culminated in becoming Lead Nurse in Dr Gray’s up to 2015. She then took up the position of Unit Operational Manager in Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital to date.
Hazel became involved with Archie through my role in the clinical advisory committee and more recently in forging stronger working links with the current management team. I bring my general management and healthcare experience to Archie.
