TAYSIDE BEREAVEMENT COORDINATOR.
Audrey joined the team in Ninewells in January 2023 and is the first point of contact for many of the families to offer advice and support in the Tayside Region.
Audrey is a retired Police Officer who served for thirty years in Tayside. Alongside Police duties, she was a Family Liaison Officer and most latterly a Family Liaison Coordinator, which meant she spent a great deal of time with families who suffered bereavement.
“In my previous role as Family Liaison Officer, I felt privileged to to support families through what may be the worst period in their lives. Grief and death are difficult topics that affect the whole family, including children. Early bereavement support is invaluable and with the correct guidance and support, children will be given the opportunity to talk about their grief at a pace suited to them.”
