Aleysha joined The Archie Foundation in September 2025 as a bereavement support worker for the Archie Child Bereavement Service in Grampian. She has a degree in Education and previously worked as a Primary school teacher for 8 years both in Aberdeen city and abroad.
In her spare time, Aleysha enjoys spending time with family and friends and going to yoga classes.
Aleysha says: “I am dedicated to working with children and ensuring they are listened to, supported and understood. In my career as a Primary school teacher, I had the privilege of supporting children both educationally and emotionally. Through my work with the bereavement service, I feel honoured to be able to support children to process and manage their grief, through early intervention”.
