Set up your JustGiving fundraising page to get your fundraising started ahead of the challenge. Don’t forget to personalise it and share your reasons for taking part in Marathon March. Choose your region below to set up your page.
After you’ve set up your page, share it with your friends and family. Sharing it on your social media channels will help promote what you’re doing and who knows, maybe it will encourage others to take on the challenge with you! Don’t forget to tag us too at “The Archie Foundation” and use our hashtag #ArchiesMarathonMarch.
P.s. once you hit £25 in fundraising, we’ll send out an Archie t-shirt for you!
Join the Facebook group which has been set up specifically for the Marathon March challenge. Here, you can meet others taking on the challenge and get encouragement from other members of the group. If you’re feeling brave, why not share your name and how you’re feeling about the upcoming challenge!
School groups take part a little differently. While the £25 t-shirt incentive applies to individual participants, we are delighted to support schools in other ways.
Schools who take part in Marathon March can receive:
Fun, age appropriate activity ideas to help complete the challenge together
A special Archie badge or certificate to celebrate successful participation
Support to recognise and celebrate your school’s fundraising, including shout-outs, digital resources and features in our communications
We also have a dedicated Marathon March Facebook community for participants. We appreciate this may not be suitable for school groups, so we are more than happy to support schools through direct email updates, downloadable resources and alternative ways to share progress.
If you’re taking part as a school and would like tailored support, please get in touch at hello@archie.org — we would love to help make Marathon March work for your pupils.
"Myself, my husband Gary and Kayden took part in Marathon March last year and it was such a positive experience for us.
Not only did it get us out the house every day for family walks, but we also raised money for a charity that’s incredibly close to our hearts."
