Baird Family Hospital Appeal

The Baird Family Hospital and The ANCHOR Centre appeal brings together two local charities for the very first time – The ARCHIE Foundation’s Friends of Neonatal Unit fund, and Friends of ANCHOR.

Works began on the build of the new Baird Family Hospital in January of 2021 with a target completion date of December 2023.

The ARCHIE Foundation aims to raise £2million to fund the vital finishing touches and additional specialist equipment that will transform this clinically state-of-the-art hospital into a world-class facility. Experience tells us that ARCHIE’s support will make the world of difference to the babies and families cared for at The Baird.

Working in partnership with the NHS and our local community we can together deliver a state-of-the-art facility that will match the world-class Neonatal and Maternity treatment provided by the NHS.

You can help us deliver the difference by donating to the appeal. For further information about this important project please scroll down.

Delivering the Difference

We’re delighted to be working in partnership to help Deliver the Difference for the new state-of-the-art Baird Family Hospital, which will include a brand new Neonatal Unit as well as maternity, gynaecology, breast screening and breast surgery services, a centre for reproductive medicine, an operating theatre suite and cutting-edge research and teaching facilities led by the University of Aberdeen.

Located directly in front of Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital (RACH), the Baird Family Hospital will have direct links into RACH and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, allowing babies who require it to be transferred immediately for life-saving surgery at RACH and women in need of additional care to be taken directly to ARI for imaging and intensive care.

You can help deliver the difference to this key project by making a donation or alternatively please contact us contact us if you have any questions about our fundraising for the project and how you can get involved in supporting – you can email on [email protected] or call on 01224 559559 Thank you.
