What we ask

Please register for either of the runs and raise money for The Archie Foundation. We would ask each runner to raise a minimum of £200 for the charity. If you choose to run for us, please create a Just Giving page and share your link so that all fundraising can be tracked in one place.

What we will provide

If you choose to run for The Archie Foundation, we will provide you with a running top, a water bottle and fundraising support throughout your challenge.

About Us

The Archie Foundation have been selected as one of the six official charity partners for the Inverness Half Marathon 2026. We would love you to run as part of Team Archie and help us help babies and children across the North of Scotland.

The Archie Foundation exists to make the difference for children and their families accessing local NHS healthcare and in bereavement. By working with NHS colleagues and child development and childcare professionals, Archie provides a lifeline of support and services across Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Moray, the Highlands and Islands, and Tayside.

This includes funding and managing parent accommodation at the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital to help keep families together through a crisis; providing emergency financial grants to help families who are struggling with unexpected hospital visits or stays; employing specialist care providers where they are needed the most; and creating child-friendly environments and facilities across our local hospitals. Everything we do, from an amazing £2million fund-raising campaign to transform a major NHS project… to a £2 cup of tea that will provide a vital, brief moment of comfort and respite for an anxious parent, is all thanks to the generosity of our supporters.

1 in 3 children across the North of Scotland visit our hospitals every year – that’s more than 50,000 children that we can support thanks to people just like you.

Your support will mean we can continue to support babies and children, and their families, when they need it most.”
