We are recruiting for a Bereavement Coordinator to join our Dundee-based Archie Tayside team. Please see further information about the role below or for a full role description and application details click here.

The Bereavement Service Coordinator provides direct support for professionals, parents, and carers to help them support a child or young person through their grief. This can be raw, immediate grief. The post holder will do this by listening, assessing, and determining appropriate support tailored to the individual’s needs.

Archie’s Child Bereavement Service run a helpline for bereaved families and therefore we require the post holder to work an element of fixed ours each week, to comply with the advertised “open” Information Line service. There is an occasional need to work at weekends and/or evenings for activity days/to attend meetings, etc. therefore flexibility is essential. For more information click here.

We are looking for skilled, passionate and committed individuals to join the Archie Board of Trustees. As a trustee, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction and ensuring the good governance of a charity dedicated to making the difference for children and families across the North of Scotland.

We are particularly keen to hear from individuals based in the Highlands and Tayside, and those with professional experience in the following areas:

  • Medical and nursing
  • IT and digital innovation
  • Legal services
  • Marketing and communications
