On Top of Scotland – All The Archies in One Day.
Fancy taking part in a unique and exciting challenge while getting some fresh air and exercise at the same time? On the 4th June 2022 we plan to decorate the Scottish Skyline by summiting all 130 Archies (the mountains in Scotland over 1000m high) in One Day. Challenge yourself to take on one (or more) mountain. Join us, invite your friends and family, spread the word, and help a great cause in the process.

On Saturday the 4th of June 2022 we plan have somebody standing on the summit of every single Archie. This will be no mean feat because the Archies are the biggest mountains in Scotland (and the UK for that matter). They are all over 1000m high (that’s right – 1 vertical kilometre!) and there are 130 of them, so we will need a lot of people. It would be great if you could sign up for this exciting challenge and spread the word by inviting friends and family to join you. We want to make this a big community venture right across the country. This may be an opportunity to push yourself in a challenge to climb your first Archie, you might want to plan a family trip, a reunion for old friends, or perhaps for the really fit among you this will be an opportunity to plan a really big day out with a challenging route over several mountains.
The challenge will raise money for The Archie Foundation which is a children’s hospital charity in Tayside, Grampian, and Highland. Read more about what The Archie Foundation does here.
Registration costs £10 and you will be sent a FREE book The Archies: Scotland’s 1000m mountains and the story of our epic journey over all 130 of them. Although there is no obligation, there will be an opportunity to fundraise through a Justgiving link or you can make a donation if you prefer. Prior to the event you will be given the opportunity to sign up for a mountain (or mountains) on a database. You will be able to dictate where you go, although it will also be helpful to have some people that are happy to go anywhere so that we have all the tops covered.
