We are very fortunate at ARCHIE to have the support of wonderful volunteers like Anne who donate their time to help us in lots of different ways. Our volunteers come from all walks of life with a wide variety of skills and experience. Some of them volunteer for a few hours every week, and some help us just when they can fit it in with their lives.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have limited opportunities for volunteers at this time. We are, however, actively seeking support in fundraising! If you would like to volunteer your time to fundraise for us please get in touch by email [email protected] or by phone 01224 559559. As and when we have admin volunteer opportunities we will put a call out on Facebook. Please follow us on Facebook @archiegrampian.
We are also actively seeking Volunteer Responders to support the work of our child bereavement service GCBN. Volunteer Responders will be given training to receive referrals and visit families to provide appropriate bereavement support and guidance for young people and their families. This can include direct work with the young people involved. This role requires you to live in the Grampian area, be over 18 and eligible to join the PVG Scheme. If you would like to volunteer to support us in this way please fill in a form below, email [email protected] or call us on 01224 559559 if you’d like to have a chat about Volunteer Responding with GCBN.
I became involved in volunteering because my grandson has had many visits to RACH and it became very clear that The ARCHIE Foundation played an important role in the hospital. I wanted to do something useful with my time and decided to get involved. I really look forward to my Wednesdays in the ARCHIE office.
